The Access to Justice programme of the Foundation has three components:

Access to Justice

Access to justice is defined as “the ability of people to seek and obtain a remedy through formal or informal institutions of justice, and in conformity with human rights standards”.

Constitutional Rights

To realize the rights established in the Constitution, vulnerable and marginalised groups must be aware of, and know how to exercise, these rights.

Participatory Democracy

The interface between government, civil society and beneficiary communities is the cornerstone of building a culture of human rights.
